This policy outlines our payment processing, subscription terms, and refund procedures for VA-RA services.

Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods for all services:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
- UPI Payments (India)
- Bank Transfers (Wire Transfer)
- PayPal
- Razorpay (for Indian transactions)
All transactions are secured with industry-standard encryption
Subscription Plans
VA-RA offers the following subscription tiers:
Free Plan
Basic access to selected journals and tools
Basic Plan
$29/month - Full journal access, AI tools, basic support
Professional Plan
$79/month - Priority review, publication credits, analytics
Institutional Plan
Custom pricing - Multi-user access, API, dedicated support
Billing & Invoicing
- Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis
- Annual subscriptions receive a 20% discount
- Invoices are sent via email immediately after payment
- All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
- Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction
- Payment is required before service activation
Refund Policy
Subscription Refunds
- Full Refund: Within 7 days of purchase if service was not used
- Pro-rated Refund: Within 30 days for annual subscriptions (minus processing fee)
- No Refund: After 30 days or if services were substantially used
Publication Fees
- Full Refund: If manuscript is rejected before peer review
- Partial Refund: If author withdraws before editorial decision (50%)
- No Refund: After publication or if rejected after review
Conference Registrations
- Full Refund: 30+ days before event
- 50% Refund: 15-29 days before event
- No Refund: Less than 15 days before event
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You will retain access until the end of your paid period
- No partial refunds for unused time (except as specified above)
- Cancelled accounts can be reactivated at any time
- Publication fees are non-refundable once processing begins
Payment Security
We take payment security seriously:
- All payments processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant gateways
- We do not store your complete credit card information
- Two-factor authentication available for account access
- Fraud detection systems protect against unauthorized transactions
Failed & Disputed Payments
If a payment fails or is disputed:
- You will be notified via email of failed payment attempts
- Services may be suspended if payment is not received within 7 days
- Please contact your bank before disputing a charge
- Disputed charges may result in account termination
- Bank dispute fees may apply
